What a week

I sadly can't fall asleep right now, so what better time to write an update? You'll have to bear with me though because I'm writing this on my iPod and sometimes it makes weird corrections.

Let's see... Monday I managed to lock myself out of the apartment so I hung out at DIS all day.

Tuesday was quite the adventure. I had a meeting about my econ class that starts next week because it's a copenhagen business school class, not DIS. it was a little intimidating, but I'll make it I'm sure. Then I had a café night with my Danish class. The school paid for our (delicious) food and it was a lot of fun getting to know some of my classmates and our professor. Then I had more issues with trains because they like to renovate the tracks at night so only me train runs through the city. No big deal, except they only tell you this in Danish. But I got home no problem once I manage to figure out what was going on.

Wednesday we had our first field study for my core class. We learned more about the refugee process, met some asylum seekers, and learned about the project we're having which helps them write articles about the asylum process. We then went to Sandholm which is the receiving center for all incoming asylum seekers. It was going to be a really cool trip, except it decided to snow hard that day so a typically 30 min trip took over two hours. Despite that...experience, it looks like it's going to be a good semester. Especially since we're going to Turkey and it should be warm there :)

Today and tomorrow shouldn't be anything ridiculous. Saturday we're going to Elsinore, yay. And I think they're going to turn off the Internet soon.
