they say you never forget how to ride a bike

While that might be true, what people don't tell you is that you might forget how to get *on* the bike. Sascha and Allan asked if I wanted to go to the store with them to get groceries. Sure, that might be fun. So I get all bundled up and THEN they tell me we'll be taking bikes over. I don't know the last time I was on a bike so I started getting a bit nervous. We wheel them outside and up the stairs (because it seems like every staircase is made especially for use with bicycles) and that's when I realize just how big it is: the seat comes up to my waist. I have absolutely no idea how to get on that thing. I couldn't even get my leg over it to straddle the bike. Eventually I did but it felt like I pulled something. Sascha started describing what I needed to do to get on and that's when I knew for sure that I would never be riding that bicycle as long as I am in this country. So I went back inside.

I then spent the next 4 hours (aka from then until now) attempting to do my homework. Danish went well and Human Rights is going to take awhile to read. I would do my migration worksheet but the article I need to read is online and I have been trying to load it for the past 2 hours. That's not even an exaggeration. I'm going to need to find somewhere else to do my homework because this is not going to work if it takes this long to load my homework, not counting how long it's going to take to do it.

Tomorrow my friend Kristie and I are going to see a castle in the nearby town of Hillerød tomorrow which should be fun. I love castles :)
