time to stalk the mailbox again

I would say that I was super excited to wake up to an email about my toolkit again this morning, but after a week of alternating between having a hold put on, then taken off, then put on again, I was less than impressed. Nonetheless, I trudged over to the toolkit to check it out. Surprisingly, not another hold!

I wish I knew what this meant. Am I cleared? Would it say something different if I'm deferred? I mean, this is still what I see on top:

This is all so stressful. I mean, my doctor confirmed I'm slightly anemic, but nothing the Peace Corps got specifically says that. Maybe they'll just let the bloodwork go? I don't know. All I know is there's a certain song I'll be singing until that letter arrives with the verdict.

  1. It just means that they've decided what to do with you. Whether that's to defer you or clear you, you won't until you get the letter or Placement e-mails you for an updated resume (meaning you're cleared). In my case, Placement actually got to me before the letter did.

    Good luck, chaquita!

  2. Haha oh I'm a good PCJ stalker, I know all that. I just wish the toolkit told me what they're going to do with me instead of having to wait for the mail. Maybe it'll be like my nomination where he told me he can't nominate me until I get more experience, then emailed me an hour later with an unofficial nomination. "We know there's something a little off with your blood work, but we're going to clear you anyway" would be lovely :D
