Back in March, I got my first Toolkit update from the Peace Corps. Sadly, it told me that my application had been removed from active consideration and I'd have to wait until June to reactivate it. So on 1 June, I sent in an email asking to reactivate. I didn't hear anything for days, so I tried calling but could never get through. Monday morning I called at 9AM and finally talked to someone. He said the offices were closed last week (explains a lot) and that he'd work on my reactivation. I woke up earlier and saw an email saying my Toolkit had updated my "Application Status account."
Woo application process FINALLY underway. I should get the fingerprint and background forms in the mail soon. The only problem is that it says it hasn't received reference letters yet, but all three of mine have sent them in. Hopefully that gets fixed soon.
I am SO excited to fiiinally be making progress with this :)
